Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. By participating in this Promotion, all claimants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Promoter: pladis (UK) Limited, Building 3, Chiswick Park, 566 Chiswick High Road, Chiswick, London W4 5YA (please do not send any correspondence to this address). (“Promoter”).

  1. Eligibility
    • Open to registered wholesale account customers at participating wholesalers in Great Britain (England, Scotland, and Wales), aged 18 or over.
    • Employees of the Promoter, their immediate families, or anyone professionally connected with this Promotion are not eligible to participate.
    • A valid participating wholesaler business account is required.
    • articipants purchasing qualifying products on behalf of an employer must have employer’s permission to enter.
  2. Promotional Period
    • The Main promotion runs from 28th February 2025 until 31st January 2026.
    • There are 4 phases within the main promotion.
    • Phase 1 opens 28th February 2025 and closes 30th April 2025.
    • Phase 2 opens 1st May 2025 and closes 31st July 2025.
    • Phase 3 opens 1st August 2025 and closes 31st October 2025.
    • Phase 4 opens 1st November 2025 and closes 31st January 2026.
    • All winning scratch card claims must be received by 23:59 28/02/2026.
  3. How to Enter – Instant Win
    • Purchase any 4 qualifying cases (full list at clause 7) of McVitie’s Everyday Biscuits from a participating wholesaler or pladis field sales rep during the promotional period to receive a scratch card.
    • Scratch the panel to reveal the prize you have won.
    • Retain your original invoice as proof of purchase for prize claims.
  4. How to Enter – Prize Draws 
    • Scan the QR code supplied by the pladis field sales agent or wholesale outlet or go directly to pladisloyalty.co.uk to enter your business details to be entered into the prize draw for the phase you are entering as well as going into the main draw to win an Electric Van.
    • You will be required to enter your business name, email, phone number and unique reference number from under the scratch panel.
  5. Prize Breakdown

    Instant Win Prizes: Total of 35,000 prizes available to be won during the Main promotion. Each phase instant win prizes are split as follows:

    Gold and Silver tiers will be split evenly between the 6 regions (Wholesale, North East & Scotland, Midlands, North West, South East, South West). In each phase, there will be one guaranteed winner of one Gold (£500) and one Silver (£100) prize in each of these regions.

    Prize Draw per phase:

    • £1,000 cash prize (1 winner per phase, drawn one month after the close date of that phase)

    Grand Prize Draw:

    • There will be one grand prize winner of an Electric Van worth a maximum of £35,000. The Winner will be drawn by 28th February 2026.
    • Make and spec of the vehicle are subject to availability but will have an on the road price of no more than £35,000.
    • Please note that the winner will need to hold a valid full UK driving licence and show proof of vehicle excise duty and vehicle insurance prior to receiving the prize.
  6. Acceptable proof
    • Responsibility for claims that are late, incorrect, illegible, incomplete, defaced, corrupt, lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, hardware or software failure of any kind or any other reason; or
    • Proof of posting as proof of receipt of claim to the Prize Promotion.
    • Purchase necessary. Please retain your original itemised invoice for each scratch card as this may be required to validate a winning claim.

  8. Winner Selection:
    • Instant Win Prizes - Each scratch card has one panel. Scratch panel to find out which prize you’ve won. Winners will see the prize they have won under the panel.
    • Phase prize draws - There will be one (1) winner drawn from all entries received from across all of the six regions in total per phase (See table at clause 5 for the dates of each phase). The Winner from each phase will be selected at random within one month of the close date of each phase, under the supervision of an independent adjudicator from all valid entries received within the phase in question.
    • lectric Van prize draw - There will be one (1) winner selected from all entries received in total in all 4 phases. The winner will be selected at random by 28/02/2026 under the supervision of an independent adjudicator from all valid entries received during the main promotional period.
  9. Winner Claim:
    • Gold and Silver Tier - If you are a winner of a cash prize, claim your prize by entering your details business name, email, phone number and unique reference number from under the scratch card panel at pladisloyalty.co.uk. If your unique reference number corresponds to a cash win, you will receive a text message with a unique link to your claim page. You’ll need to fill in your business bank details including sort code, account number and business address (this must relate to the business connected to the wholesale account the purchase was made with). Winning scratch cards must be claimed by 28/02/2026 and any claim made after this date will not be fulfilled.
    • Bronze Tier – If you have won a Bronze Tier prize, the barcode for your coupon will be under the latex scratch panel and can be redeemed at any participating wholesale outlet. Please retain this coupon and treat it as cash. It cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or damaged.
    • Phase Prize Draw - £1,000 Cash Prizes – if you win, you will receive a text message with a claim link. You must click the link and claim your prize by entering your business name, business bank account number, sort code and business address, including post code. Claim must be made within 14 days of winning text message, failure to do so will result in the forfeit of the prize. Any forfeited prizes will be awarded to a reserve winner, selected in the same manner as detailed in clause 7.
    • The Winner of the Main Prize Draw will be contacted by phone within 5 working days of the prize draw. Every attempt to contact the winner will be made, starting with regular phone calls over a 14 day period combined with emails. If contact cannot be made after this time, a reserve will be selected in the same manner as detailed in clause 8.
  10. Prize Delivery:
    • All Winners of a cash prize that have successfully claimed their prize, will receive a payment via bank transfer to their business bank account submitted in the claim process within 28 days.
    • Any failed payments due to inaccurate details submitted will be forfeited and the prize lost.
    • The Winner of the Electric Van will receive their prize within 90 days of prize claim.
    • Winners are advised to discuss any HMRC liability incurred by winning a cash prize with their tax advisor.
  11. General Terms
    • Entrants acknowledge that the Promoter may be prevented from providing some or all of the Prize elements due to unforeseen circumstances. In such circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize and neither the Promoter nor the Companies accept responsibility in these circumstances.
    • The Promoter reserves the right to amend or withdraw the Promotion if deemed necessary due to circumstances outside of its reasonable control.
    • The Promoter’s decision is final on all matters relating to the Promotion.
    • If the Promoter has reasonable grounds for believing that a claimant has contravened the Terms and Conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify them.
    • The Winners’ business names and counties can be requested, by sending a stamped self-addressed envelope to Pladis 8432 Scratch Card Winners List, PO Box 906, Chilton, Aylesbury, HP22 9HR and will be available for a period of 4 weeks from 28/02/2026.
    • By entering this Promotion, each entrant acknowledges that if he or she is a Winner, his or her business name and county may be disclosed to persons enquiring, where permitted by law. Any entrant may object to their information being made available in this way or may request that the amount of information made available be reduced, by contacting the Promoter. In these circumstances the entrant acknowledges that the Promoter may nevertheless disclose such information in full to the Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so.
    • Entrants can only enter the Promotion using their business account linked to their Wholesale Business Account. The Promoter will verify the eligibility of prize winners. The Promoter will require such information that it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose and a Prize may be withheld unless and until the Promoter is satisfied with the verification.
    • Where a Winner has been found to be in breach of any of these Terms and Conditions and in particular where a person is in breach of the restrictions, the Promoter may nevertheless still enforce its right to disqualify that person and require the return or reimbursement to the Promoter of any Prize even where a prize has been awarded and/or actually provided to the entrant or Winner in question.
    • If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any written directions given under applicable law) to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion.
    • If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation.
    • Winners may be invited to participate in reasonable publicity arising from the Promotion with no further compensation.
    • This Promotion is governed by English Law and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
